Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist with up to three years of experience to join our growing Environmental Department in our Orlando, Florida office. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career environmental professional who's eager to build technical skills, gain hands-on field and reporting experience, and grow alongside a well-established and respected firm.In this role, you'll support a diverse client base and contribute to meaningful projects including environmental due diligence, regulatory consulting, brownfield redevelopment, and site remediation. You'll work closely with experienced professionals who are invested in your development and long-term success.What You'll DoProjects may include, but are not limited to:Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)Brownfield redevelopment and State Voluntary Cleanup projectsUnderground Storage Tank (UST) assessment and removalSite remediation using a variety of technologiesEnvironmental sampling, field investigations, and data collectionPreparation of clear, accurate reports and technical deliverables, including figures, tables, and logsCompletion of daily field reports, chain-of-custody forms, field notes, sketches, and related documentationAs you grow, you'll have opportunities to expand into:Regulatory agency interactionVapor intrusion investigationsAsbestos and lead-based paint surveysProject coordination and management responsibilitiesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field03 years of experience with Phase I and/or Phase II ESAs (brownfields experience a plus, but not required)Strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasksWillingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a collaborative team environmentWe believe in taking care of our teamprofessionally, personally, and everything in between.
