Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll using UltiPro, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage payroll transactions, including: New hires, terminations, transfers, compensation, job changes, garnishments, and deductions
- Reconcile and validate payroll data prior to submission
- Process special payrolls, including bonuses and year-end adjustments
- Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll-related inquiries
- Respond to employee questions related to pay, taxes, deductions, and leave balances
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues and escalations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Support audits and respond to inquiries from government agencies
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
- 7 years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with multi-entity payroll structures (multiple FEINs) preferred
- CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and garnishments
- Experience with UltiPro required
- Experience with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
