Summary/Objective: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for receiving, verifying and entering all vendor invoices in a timely manner. Reconciles vendor accounts to statements. Answers telephone and greets visitors. Distributes mail.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m.

- Verify AP invoice for accuracy and perform a three-way match to purchase order and receiving document
- Ensure non-purchase order invoices have proper approvals and coding before entering
- Enter invoices in ERP system
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Process weekly check runs
- Scans AP invoices and payments
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Posts AR invoices and scans
- Assists with applicant tracking and other HR/payroll-related functions as needed
- Assists with planning company luncheons and events
- Answers telephone and greets visitors
- Distributes mail
- Maintains office supply room and orders supplies as needed
- Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate

- One years in an accounts payable specialist position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 10 key touch
- High school diploma / GED
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
