What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Reliability & CNC Asset Maintenance Supervisor position at Genuine Machine Products?
What your day looks like
You start by reviewing the preventive maintenance calendar, lining up work orders with Manufacturing Leads and Production Planning so uptime stays high. Before first shift hits full stride, you’re walking the floor, checking CNC mills and lathes, confirming HVAC setpoints, scanning air handling, and verifying electrical panels and safety systems (CCTV, alarm, access control). Throughout the day you coordinate vendor visits, guide Facilities Techs and the Custodian, and keep the Operations Manager updated—quick pings for progress, a daily status recap, and a polished monthly PM report. You keep the shop spotless during and after work, and you never miss a chance to improve reliability, cost control, and machine performance.
Ownership and impact
You directly supervise Facilities Techs and the Custodian, setting the pace, modeling safe work, and owning results—not just tasks.
What you bring
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position, and minimum hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm. Occasionally additional hours may be required on weekends and nights as workload and unforeseen emergencies dictate.

This description outlines the core scope of the role but is not exhaustive; responsibilities and activities may evolve as business needs change.
