Gentry Gym is a 12,000 sq. ft., independently owned and operated fitness facility in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. Fully equipped with custom-designed Arsenal Strength, Hammer Strength, and TechnoGym equipment, we offer a wide variety of exercise options, including power-lifting bars, deadlift platforms, specialty bars, and 70 feet of indoor turf for versatile training. Our goal is to provide an accessible and world-class fitness experience within a supportive community environment. Located in Harlingen, TX, we are dedicated to continual improvement, ensuring that we remain the premier fitness destination for our members.
As a full-time Childcare Director, you will lead and manage the childcare operations within Gentry Gym. Responsibilities include overseeing daily childcare activities, implementing age-appropriate programs focused on early childhood development, maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children, and providing exceptional customer service to parents and guardians. This is an on-site role located in Harlingen, TX, and requires collaboration with the gym team to align with our community-oriented mission.
- Strong experience in Childcare and Early Childhood Development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Proficiency in Communication and Customer Service to maintain open lines of communication with parents and address any concerns effectively.
- Background in Education with the ability to design and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children.
- Leadership and organizational skills to manage daily childcare operations and staff members effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus.
