About the Role
Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain operations, is seeking a Fleet Services Clerk/ Fleet Title Specialist (Operations & Compliance) to support high-volume vehicle and asset transactions tied to auction activity.
This role sits at the intersection of fleet operations, compliance, and asset lifecycle management, ensuring all titles, registrations, and documentation are accurate, compliant, and processed efficiently. It requires strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
• Review vehicle titles and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Submit and process DMV paperwork for ownership transfers and equipment registration
• Coordinate with auction houses, vendors, buyers, and internal teams to manage documentation flow
• Process payments from auction sales and complete asset retirement documentation
• Manage toll systems and upload invoices for payment processing
• Pull fuel usage data from IBM Maximo for tax reporting
• Track and update assets within fleet and auction management systems
• Research and resolve issues such as missing titles, VIN discrepancies, and mileage errors
• Ensure all records are properly organized, filed, and secured throughout the asset lifecycle
Why This Role Stands Out
• Blends fleet operations, compliance, and financial processing in one role
• High ownership—candidates are expected to resolve issues, not just process paperwork
• Exposure to large-scale logistics and asset lifecycle management
• Fast-paced, structured environment with clear workflows and impact
What We’re Looking For
• 2 years of experience in fleet operations, title processing, or DMV/compliance-related roles
• Experience with vehicle titles, registrations, lien releases, or similar documentation
• Extreme attention to detail (VIN accuracy, mileage validation, documentation completeness)
• Experience working with systems such as Excel, fleet software, auction platforms, or Maximo
• Proven ability to manage high-volume documentation and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, follow-through mindset
Preferred Skills
• Background in auto finance, dealership operations, logistics, or fleet administration
• Experience supporting auctions or asset disposition workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve title or documentation discrepancies independently
