Overview:
The Logistics Coordinator performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming materials, routing product to appropriate locations, and preparing outbound shipments with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, multitasking skills, and experience with reconciliation of orders and inventory records. The Logistics Coordinator will also assist in leading shipping and receiving personnel while maintaining communication between warehouse staff, customers, and leadership teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reconciles carrier paperwork with customer purchase orders and receiving records while updating customers regarding any discrepancies or delays.
• Prepares pull tickets and verifies items being shipped against customer orders to ensure products and quantities are accurate and complete.
• Communicates special instructions and shipment details to warehouse staff regarding outbound orders.
• Maintains customer product status reports and provides updates as needed.
• Assists internal customers with product-related issues and helps resolve concerns in a timely manner.
• Investigates and resolves discrepancies involving shipments, inventory, and receiving documentation.
• Maintains Shipping & Receiving control programs (IQ & S Drive) and ensures records remain accurate and organized.
• Sends monthly storage orders and reports to customers.
• Runs scheduled operational reports and submits findings to Leadership.
• Demonstrates strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Utilizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory issues efficiently.
• Supports daily warehouse operations and assists with additional logistics-related tasks as needed.
