Director of Operations

**Looking for someone with strong experience leading complex manufacturing environments, specifically within low-volume, high-mix production settings involving large engineered systems or capital equipment.**

General Responsibilities

• Manages all manufacturing operations, including production control, product engineering, and inventory control, while overseeing purchasing and shipping/receiving activities.
• Translates customer requirements into advanced manufacturing strategies, ensuring cost-effective and profitable production.
• Directs resource allocation to achieve organizational objectives and motivates teams for breakthrough improvements.
• Ensures a safe and innovative working environment, focusing on quality and timely product delivery.
• Collaborates with management to implement cost-effective control systems and oversees customer commitments with production staff.
• Develops operations plans, budgets, and policies, and leads efforts in environmental, health, and safety goals within manufacturing.

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
• Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per year
