This role will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of power electronic systems and related hardware/firmware for high-power applications. Works cross-functionally to deliver reliable products from concept through production while supporting customer requirements and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop power electronic systems/components for industrial or high-power applications.
  • Perform feasibility studies, simulations, prototyping, testing, and validation for new and existing products.
  • Support product qualification, engineering analysis, and production launch activities.
  • Lead failure analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and test procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in power electronics design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC power conversion / power converter systems.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems/firmware development using C/C and MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of real-time control systems (PWM, PID, PLL).
  • Experience with DSPs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC, magnetic circuit design, thermal management, and high-frequency switching systems.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
