Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with best practices in early childhood development.
- Manage the center’s budget effectively, allocating resources wisely to support high-quality programs and staff needs.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of staff to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee daily center operations, including enrollment management, compliance with licensing standards, health and safety protocols, and parent communication.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that emphasizes leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional service to families.
- Collaborate with educational experts and community partners to enrich curriculum offerings and support children’s developmental milestones.
- Monitor program quality through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms to ensure an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Experience
- 2 years of proven experience in leadership, administration or management within early childhood or related settings.
- Able to pass all 4 state required background checks
- Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational management within a childcare or educational organization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and cultivate a collaborative work environment.
- Experience working within university or higher education environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies in early childhood education and familiarity with licensing standards is essential.
- Working with and supporting challenging behaviors in a early childhood and education setting.
Candidates must have:
- Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 2 years of proven experience in leadership, administration or management within early childhood or related settings
- All 4 State required background checks
Pay: $47,073.89 - $60,000.00 per year
