Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to maintain pristine conditions throughout the property.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and standards aligned with hospitality industry best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate procurement as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to uphold cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Oversee safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep cleans during peak times or events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within a hospitality setting.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning practices, and laundry operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of janitorial supplies, safety protocols, and sanitation standards applicable to hospitality or commercial cleaning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills for training staff and coordinating with other departments.
