Responsibility
Summary:
Under the leadership of the Central Sterile Processing Supervisor, demonstrates competency in indentification, decontamination, processing and sterilization of surgical instruments including endoscopy scopes. Has a thorough understanding of processing and sterilization of surgical instruments and endoscopy scopes. Has a thorough understanding of processing equipment, including but not limited to, sterilizers,washer decontaminators, medivators and ultra sonic cleaners following a detailed orientation.
Education:
Minimum: High School education or equivalent.
Preferred: Certification as Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) and/or Certification in Endoscope Reprocessing (CER)
License/
Certifications:
Certifications: Central Sterile Technician certification (CRCST) requirement within 12 months of hire. Preferred: Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) within 2 years of hire
Experience:
Preferred: Previous experience in sterile processing and/or previous experience processing endoscopy scopes.
Other:
Minimum: Conscientious regard for technical and minute procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literacy.

Compensation: $21.63-$24.02
