Maintains a clean, safe, and functional facility by performing routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing restrooms and breakrooms, cleaning equipment, trash removal) and minor repairs (changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, painting, changing filters, etc) inside and outside the facility. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleaning supply inventory, securing the building, and, in some cases, basic groundskeeping.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Sweep, vacuum, mop/scrub floors. Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Empty trash, wash windows, walls, and glass.
- Light Maintenance: Replace light bulbs, ballast, and fluorescent tubes. Perform minor repairs, such as fixing door handles, changing filters, painting, patching drywall, or unclogging drains. Report major repair needs to management.
- Supply Management: Monitor, order, and stock janitorial supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning products). Maintain cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, etc).
- Safety & Security: Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemicals. Secure building doors and windows after hours. Perform basic groundskeeping, such as snow removal or trash pickup.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and, ideally, familiarity with hand tools for repairs. Must be willing to learn to drive forklifts.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observation to spot and resolve cleaning or maintenance issues.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Communication: Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Experience in manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet safety standards.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Detail oriented and neatly organized.
