General Shale, Inc., the nation’s leading brick and masonry materials manufacturer, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Chattanooga, TN facility. The successful candidate must acquire an in-depth knowledge of General Shale products and interact professionally with customers in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inside sales
- Dispatching trucks (a plus)
- Invoicing
- Answering the phone
- Data entry in SAP computer system
- Cash sales
- Liaising with the outside sales team
- Manual handling of product
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of customer service experience; inside sales experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related curriculum preferred
- Must be a self-starter who possesses excellent PC skills; knowledge of SAP a plus
- Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
