Industrial Maintenance Electrician
General Shale Brick, the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products, is seeking an industrial maintenance electrician for our facility in Spring City, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Test/troubleshoot electrical components such as motors or pumps and replace or repair as needed.
- Ensuring proper operation of production equipment by performing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, prints, and equipment manuals.
- Use hand tools, multi-meter, power tools, levels, etc.
- Operate forklifts, hoist, and power equipment.
- Communicate with machine operators to troubleshoot issues.
An ideal candidate will have the opportunity to apply his/her knowledge to a highly automated manufacturing facility while learning and training on the following systems:
- Programmable Logic Controllers
- Allen Bradley Automation
- RSLogix 500 & 5000, Control Logix
- Panel Builder 32
- RSNetworx for Devicenet and Ethernet
Required Skills:
- Proficient use of hand tools, multi-meter, power tools, level, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, read schematics.
- Ability to life heavy equipment, work in hot/cold environments, and use stairs, ladders, and manlifts.
- Shift flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Fanuc Robots
- Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience
- PLC knowledge.
Scheduled Shifts:
- Friday - Sunday
- 12-hour shifts
