We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with steel, and PVC piping and a strong understanding of ammonia systems and safety protocols.
Job Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.
- Install and connect refrigeration lines, valves, compressors and other components.
- Assemble and install piping systems, including water, gas, steam, industrial piping and ammonia refrigeration piping.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Work with a variety of piping materials such as PVC, copper, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Experience with CO2 refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience with copper is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- High School diploma or equivalent, vocational training is a plus.
- Certification from a recognized welding authority (e.g., ASME, AWS) and EPA certification is a plus.
- Availability to travel overnight to customers and jobsites in the eastern United States as needed.
- Position requires pre-employment drug screening, criminal background screening, and driving record check. Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving for up to 10 hours.
- Availability to travel for overnight stays up to 20% of the time to customers in the eastern United States as needed.
- Weekend availability is required.

- Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic tools, and various other equipment.
- Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials.
- Comfortable in confined spaces, at heights and climb ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
