DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering and technology.
- Provide hands-on support for lab, ground, and flight test events as well as customer training sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Present findings and recommendations to engineering management, USAF Program Office, and USAF/AFSOC Leadership.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Extensive technical expertise and application of engineering principles.
- Experience with contractual documents and requirements.
- A passion for solving advanced technical problems and leading impactful projects.
- Expertise in systems engineering processes, system architecture, and verification and validation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- A customer-focused mindset that drives innovative solutions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience in software engineering, systems engineering, unmanned systems, or aircraft simulators.
- Prior DoD experience or experience in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with system ground and flight testing.
- A Professional Engineering License or published works are a plus.
