What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classroom Aide position at Geminus & Regional Health Systems?
Geminus Corporation partners with community-based health care providers, social service organizations and early childhood education programs to help increase access to high-quality social health care for children and families across Northern Indiana. Geminus Corporation is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
The Classroom Aide assists and works under close directive of teachers and bus drivers in a center and on the bus to support children in developing the skills designed to promote social, physical and cognitive growth in order to prepare children for the routines of a school setting. This is a full time 9-month position.
Essential Functions:
- Provide excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Assist in implementation of developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
- Assist teaching team in providing information for child records and progress reports.
- Participate in trainings as required.
- Provide additional site support where needed.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
High school diploma or Equivalent is required (CDA preferred).
No experience needed. Some experience working with children is preferred. Spanish speaking preferred.
Full-Time Days (Monday-Friday, 7:30a-3:30p)

Pay Range: $15.00-$17.81 (without CDA) or $17.65-$22.06 (with CDA)
