Position: Certified Recovery Specialist
Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health clinic. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
To provide peer support services and serve as a consumer advocate, provide consumer information and peer support for consumers in emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings. Serve as a role model/mentor and perform a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control over their lives and recovery process. Position requires documentation of services provided and requires regular travel in personal vehicle in the community 75% of the time.

Shift Details: Days – Part-time / 10hr a week
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Recovery Specialist Certification in Indiana
- Valid Driver's License (PPC or CDL) consistent with driving requirement/vehicle
- No experience required.
