What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Gemini Valve?

Gemini Valve is seeking reliable, productive, and motivated individuals for the CNC Machine Operator role. The ideal candidate must be able to operate a CNC machine in a safe, efficient manner in a production setting.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Operating machinery such as CNC lathes, mills, saws, and other auxiliary equipment to produce components to blueprint specifications
- Performing post-machining operations such as deburring, filing, and sanding
- Checking components for conformity based on a pre-defined inspection plan by usage of gauging equipment
- Maintaining a neat and clean machine and work area
- Recording and reporting daily production figures
- Observing and maintaining basic machine maintenance and input levels
- Recognizing deviations in components and in machine performance, reporting to the Cell Lead
- Demonstrating dependable, reliable, safe work
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with metal-cutting CNC machinery strongly preferred
- Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
