Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility, including production floors, common areas, and exterior spaces
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, debris removal, and spill cleanup to ensure a safe work environment
- Manage and dispose of waste materials, including general trash, recyclables, and production byproducts, in compliance with company procedures and environmental regulations
- Perform basic landscaping duties, including seasonal cleanup and snow removal as needed
- Monitor facility systems (lighting, HVAC, compressed air, coolant systems, etc.) and report abnormalities
- Perform minor repairs to building infrastructure (doors, fixtures, plumbing, etc.)
- Support production by responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety standards, including proper use of PPE
- Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and consumables
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations
- Exhibiting reliable, punctual attendance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a maintenance role strongly preferred
- Ability to be on your feet a majority of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
