What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at GEM Technology?
Overview:
The candidate should display the proper mix of skills and experience to support the EPA’s program. All personnel assigned to this contract must have excellent customer service skills and be able to professionally and competently manage customer relationships by phone, by email, Microsoft Teams, and in person. All personnel assigned to this contract must also have an attention to detail that ensures data errors are minimized.
Duties:
Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of complex projects. Works directly with the COR to ensure that project goals are clearly defined and that all parties have a common expectation.
Other duties include:
- Direct all aspects of the project
- Produce all task order deliverables, as well as organizing, planning, and directing task order activity
- Task order performance and conformance
- Meet with key stakeholders
- Provides advice and counsel to other contractors working under this call order and to Federal personnel.
- Prepare and present project status reports
- Apply quality assurance measures
- Evaluate Contractor personnel performance under the task order
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, minimum of 15 years of experience related to personnel security, including at least 10 years managing the initiation of, or adjudication of, background investigations.
- Must be able to communicate with/make recommendations to COR on operations and issues, based on proven experience.
- Experience in eQIP/eAPP
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
