A well-established industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations, process improvement initiatives, and day-to-day manufacturing activities within a dynamic production environment. This role combines technical leadership with operational oversight and is ideal for an engineer who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and driving manufacturing performance.
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing production activities, supporting continuous improvement efforts, managing personnel, and ensuring operational objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing and production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of production schedules.
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, procedures, KPIs, and operating standards.
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and yield.
- Manage workflow, production priorities, and resource allocation to support customer and business requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve operational challenges and improve performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop production personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, equipment reliability, and operational excellence.
- Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing equipment, facility processes, and material flow.
- Support technical projects from concept through implementation, including process modifications and capital improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, quality systems, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, labor planning, and performance management activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
- 3 years of manufacturing leadership, supervisory, or engineering management experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, process improvement, and production systems.
- Experience leading teams in a production, process manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or related manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze data, solve complex operational issues, and implement sustainable improvements.
- Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing metrics, and production planning.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
