We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). We are currently hiring a Payment Integrity Specialist
Summary: One of our clients in Blue Cross Blue Shield is looking for a Payment Integrity Specialist to support the Payment Integrity team by tracking medical record update requests, updating Excel-based logs, and routing updated medical records to appropriate internal departments and external vendors. The role supports the resolution of unpaid or denied claims by ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience within the healthcare payer industry
- Experience in documenting and/or reviewing medical records (ICD-10, CPT codes, claims and billing statements, prior authorizations, patient demographics, etc.)
- Basic MS Excel experience (data entry, sort, filter, copy/paste, etc.)
