Responsibilities
- Monitor network, server, and infrastructure alerts in a 24×7 NOC environment.
- Identify, triage, and respond to incidents to minimize system downtime.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues to engineering teams as needed.
- Maintain and update runbooks and monitoring documentation for operational consistency.
- Support change management procedures and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Communicate incident status updates to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Participate in conference calls and problem management meetings as required.
- Support continuous improvement of monitoring and incident response processes.
- Assist in maintaining security and compliance standards within network operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and network infrastructure.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24×7 environment.
- Excellent communication skills for incident reporting and stakeholder updates.
- Availability to work on-site with reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience supporting energy or utilities sector environments is preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow and previous NOC or network operations experience is a plus.
