The Functional Test Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software solutions through comprehensive testing processes. This position involves validating business requirements and system capabilities, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing testing activities across multiple phases. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in enterprise application testing to support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test coverage.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and testing documentation.
- Execute various testing types including Functional, Integration, End-to-End, Regression, and UAT.
- Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Validate business processes and system integrations to ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Maintain testing assets and document execution results within Azure DevOps.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to project stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and regression testing suites.
- Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve overall testing practices and software quality.
- Prior experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable testing tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with enterprise application testing, particularly regression and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of API, integration, and data validation testing.
- SQL skills and troubleshooting experience.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
