Position Overview:

GD Resources LLC is seeking a qualified Facilities Maintenance Specialist to provide year-round and biannual maintenance and cleaning services for Federally owned facilities under the Supervisor's Office of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. This performance-based role ensures all designated areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and custodial duties across two Federally owned buildings:

• Supervisor's Office: Year-round services for a two-level, 16,045 sq. ft. office building, including reception areas, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, mailroom, break room, and specialized architectural features such as wood paneling, murals, and custom ceilings.

• Kamiah Bunkhouse: Biannual services for a two-level, 3,400 sq. ft. facility including bedrooms, common areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry area, including deep cleaning of carpets, luxury vinyl floors, and interior/exterior windows.
• Maintain all areas neat, orderly, and free from fire, safety, or health hazards.
• Follow manufacturer-recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures for all flooring and special features.
• Provide all labor, management, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the work.
• Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to establish cleaning and maintenance schedules, including non-business hours (5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.) and weekends.
• Adjust services as needed for public meetings or special events.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in commercial or government facility maintenance or custodial services.
• Knowledge of floor care, carpet maintenance, and cleaning procedures for various materials.
• Ability to provide all necessary cleaning and maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Strong attention to safety standards and detail.
• Good organizational and communication skills for scheduling and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance-based cleaning or facilities contracts for government or corporate facilities.
• Familiarity with maintenance of specialized architectural features.
• Ability to provide references from previous similar projects.

Work Schedule:

• Supervisor's Office: Year-round, primarily after hours or weekends.
• Kamiah Bunkhouse: Biannual deep cleaning (May and October).
