Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the community, responding to work orders, and ensuring apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment turns, including make-ready repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry
- Conduct preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents and management
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Previous apartment or property maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass background screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA certification
- HVAC certification
- On-call experience
