As a Java Technical Lead, you’ll take ownership of delivery, architecture, and team leadership - guiding a squad of talented engineers to build modern, cloud-native applications that power next-gen mobility and financial services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage a team of 5-6 developers, ensuring quality delivery and accountability
- Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java & Spring Boot
- Drive cloud-native development on AWS (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Design and implement event-driven systems using Kafka
- Own end-to-end solution architecture, from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define customer journeys, data models, and APIs
- Champion Agile best practices, lead Scrum ceremonies, and enforce delivery discipline
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, code quality, testing, and performance tuning
- Ensure secure, resilient systems (OAuth, SSO, API security)
- Identify risks, solve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead managing teams (5–6 engineers)
- Deep expertise in Java & Spring Boot microservices architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS/ECS
- Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven design
- Experience with MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL/Aurora (RDBMS)
- Familiarity with JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of API integration, MuleSoft, and web services (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with application security (OAuth, SSO)
- Exposure to ReactJS (nice to have)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
