We’re seeking a motivated HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our team and support HVAC contractors throughout the Greenville, SC area.
About the Role:
As part of our Outside Sales team, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors across the Bluffton market. This is a customer-focused role where your organization, follow-through, and product knowledge help customers get what they need quickly and correctly.
Our Expectations:
- Build strong customer relationships by identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts through consistent engagement and follow-up
- Understand customer needs using Gateway Supply’s full offering and vendor partnerships to recommend the right solutions for the job
- Facilitate purchases and deliveries by coordinating with internal teams (inside sales, purchasing, and delivery) to support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to position Gateway Supply as a trusted supplier
- Track sales performance and meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in the HVAC supply industry (required)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
