We are seeking a production team member to add to our fast-paced community minded business. This position is primarily for a production machine operator whose basic job is to produce custom products for clients such as screen-printing t-shirts, running vinyl printers, t-shirt printers, and vinyl cutters, running engraving machines, and other various printers and production equipment to fulfill a variety of work orders. This position is a hands-on creative position that is mostly focused on shirt and sign printing. We are a small print shop that does primarily short run orders. The ideal candidate would have some experience and knowledge of screen printing, and/or sign shop operation. Although training will be provided, we are seeking skilled individuals who can perform a variety of duties to ensure that the end product is of high quality and meet the standards that are set for it. This team member needs an upbeat personality and have effective customer service skills, be able to multitask and be comfortable with a computer. Knowledge of graphics programs a plus. This position requires a high attention to detail and efficiency.
A high school diploma (or a GED equivalent) is sufficient (but not required). Additional training will be available including online courses and some in-person courses as needed, specific graphic program operating, and machine operations. This is highly skilled work and requires the individual performing it to be diligent, well-organized, and willing to learn new skills. In addition to this, it is important for a production team operator to be able to follow set instructions and work in a time-efficient manner.

General Summary:
Responsible for, but not limited to: Producing custom orders from start to finish. Checking designs, printing shirts, verifying logo colors and ink matches. Engraving name plates and awards as well as maintaining an organized work area.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Producing custom orders
Load and unload shirts from printers and heat presses
Quality control on orders completed
Measuring, cutting and weeding vinyl
Read work orders and perform work as assigned by project manager
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Perform maintenance and calibrations on printers as needed
Multi-task between multiple machines at the same time
Keep track of order details and produce items based on art provided and specs
Place finished goods in designated areas
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Other duties as assigned

On occasion, job requires onsite installation of window graphics or vehicle graphics.
