Accounting Manager

A global organization is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and support process optimization across multiple international entities. This role will play a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls within a multi-currency, ERP-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Accounts Receivable Operations

• Oversee the full order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accurate recording of transactions from sales platforms through cash applications
• Analyze and report on revenue-related activity including returns, discounts, and payment processing trends
• Perform monthly AR reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting of collections activity
  
  

Reconciliations & General Ledger Oversight

• Review account reconciliations for completeness, accuracy, and proper support
• Maintain centralized tracking of reconciliation status to support timely close cycles
• Identify and resolve reconciling items in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  
  

Month-End Close & Journal Entries

• Review journal entries and support correction of discrepancies
• Assist in executing a timely and accurate month-end close process
  
  

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

• Prepare internal financial reporting packages and supporting schedules
• Support multi-entity financial consolidation, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations
• Perform reconciliations between local/statutory books and consolidated reporting systems
• Partner with external auditors by providing documentation and supporting schedules
  
  

Banking & Cash Management

• Support banking initiatives including account setup, transitions, and reconciliations
• Assist in managing payment processes and financial system integrations
  
  

Process Improvement & Controls

• Implement and enhance accounting processes and internal controls
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across accounting operations
  
  

Data & Reporting Tools

• Maintain clean, organized financial data for reporting and analysis
• Support development of reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms)
• Assist with automation initiatives to streamline reporting and analysis
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience supporting month-end close in a multi-entity, international environment
• Experience with foreign currency accounting and financial consolidations
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel)
