JOB SUMMARY -
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist is an integral member of the AZ Gastro Care clinical team, working collaboratively and autonomously in partnership with the supervising physician. The APP independently evaluates, diagnoses, and manages inpatient gastrointestinal patients while supporting continuity of care through follow-up outpatient visits.
This role involves delivering evidence-based care across the continuum, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, advanced medical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality, compliant documentation, contributing to a safe, patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications:- Master’s degree - New graduates welcome!
- National Board Certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with GI or pain treatment preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as EPIC, required
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
- Continually moves around a medical center/healthcare environment 90% of the time.
- Consistently grasps, moves or assembles small objects.
- Make quick, precise adjustments and manipulate machines and controls.
- Consistently uses computers and relays information verbally and through email, messages and phone.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
