What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-home Personal Care and Chore Assistance position at Garrett County Community Action?
Garrett County Community Action Committee, Inc., Aging and Nutrition Services is seeking a permanent full-time Content Specialist to provide In-home Personal Care and Chore Assistance for the Senior Care Program. Duties include light chore services and/or personal care assistance for elderly individuals. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with the elderly and pass a background check. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required due to traveling to multiple homes each day. Mileage reimbursement is provided. This is a permanent full-time position, approximately 32-40 hours per week. Pay is based on experience and starts at $15.85 per hour. Working hours fall Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4 P.M. but can also be adjusted if needed. This is a permanent position with full Community Action benefits including health insurance, participation in a pension plan, a flex spending account (FSA), 15 paid holidays, 12 vacation days, and 18 sick days per year.
