Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operation of our kitchen in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant, culinary, or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing)
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment
- Support food presentation and garnishing to ensure attractive plating
- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries and rotating stock as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Provide excellent customer service by responding professionally to guest inquiries when applicable
- Assist in setting up banquet or event areas as required
- Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation practices
- Experience with banquet service or serving guests is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if needed
