Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying billing accuracy and preparing financial reports.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests via phone and in person.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and financial transactions.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises by monitoring surveillance systems and performing regular patrols.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare daily reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and operational issues.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to safety, security, and guest privacy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management software is desirable.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
