Hotel Night Auditor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Garden Place suites / Gateway Studios. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and supporting the overall management of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent guest service abilities, and experience with front desk operations. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist our diverse guest base. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, providing critical support during nighttime hours to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying billing accuracy and preparing financial reports.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins and check-outs of guests.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests via phone and in person.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and financial transactions.
• Ensure the security of the hotel premises by monitoring surveillance systems and performing regular patrols.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
• Prepare daily reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and operational issues.
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures related to safety, security, and guest privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management software is desirable.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: From $14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
