Position Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
- Maintain appropriate supervision of children at all times.
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing regulations and center policies.
- Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and administration.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Demonstrate patience, compassion, teamwork, and positive classroom management.
- Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in preschool, childcare, or early childhood education preferred.
- CDA credential, associate degree, or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Ability to meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements, including required background checks and training.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a professional team.
- Dependable transportation and a commitment to scheduled work hours.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
