We are a privately owned and operated child care facility. We serve children from the age of 6 weeks though 12 years old. We take pride in meeting the individualized needs of our students and making children and families our #1 priority. Our program and curriculum are designed to support the developmental needs of each child in an age appropriate and supportive environment. We ask families to make a significant personal and financial commitment to Bullfrogs and Butterflies and we seek teachers worthy of that investment.

We are looking for qualified Teachers that are ready to have fun, support, and teach our children. This opening may be full time or part time – Our program runs from 7:00am to 5:30pm. We are SPECIFICALLY seeking OPEN AFTERNOON AVAILABILITY. The shift times include but are not limited to start times of 9am and end after the building is shut down, around 6:00pm.

Specifically, the job entails:

• Keeping our children safe. Health and Safety are our highest concerns. You’ll be responsible for supervising children at all times. This means discouraging and redirecting them from eating toys, but also maintaining a clean and tidy classroom.
• Utilizing our creative curriculum.

Our curriculum helps children become independent, self-confident, and inquisitive learners. Young children learn best by doing and learn at their own pace. Learning isn’t just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in. That is why we exercise a curriculum that focuses on all areas of development; Social, Emotional, Cognitive, and Physical. We’re looking for Teachers who will exercise this curriculum on a daily basis.

Our Hopper/ Assistant teacher applicants must have the following requirements:

• Minimum education level of a High School Diploma.
• Experience in a school setting. We prefer at least two years’ experience in a school setting.
• Expert communication skills. Our teachers must know how to use emails and be comfortable enough to make phone calls to parents. Applicants need to have excellent writing, grammar, and speaking skills.
• Ability to manage physical demands of a school setting. This includes but is not limited to: sitting on the floor, getting up quickly from the floor, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching and lifting above your head, cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, sweeping), etc.
• Proficient computer skills. You should be comfortable using Microsoft programs (especially Outlook), social media, and the internet in general.
• Current CPR and First Aid for Adults and Infants (will discuss recertification if needed)
• Current Print Out of school schedule

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
