Garden & Gun Club is searching for qualified candidates to join their food and beverage team.
We are seeking a skilled and personable bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong knowledge of beverages, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Bartenders are responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Provide warm, attentive service to guests.
• Complete a comprehensive daily inventory and restock. This includes kegs, wines, spirits, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
• Execute all bar prep to the manager’s standards. This includes juicing fresh citrus, making syrups, dehydrating garnishes, and prepping infusions.
• Responsible for deep-cleaning wells, organizing the back bar, polishing all brass/glass, and ensuring the draft lines and coffee station are spotless.
• Follow all health, safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Ability to change kegs, lift cases of wine (up to 40 pounds), and stay active for the duration of the shift.
