Attorney - Estate Planning & Tax Planning Attorney

A well‑respected full‑service law firm is seeking an experienced Estate & Tax Planning Attorney to join its growing practice. This team handles sophisticated planning for individuals, families, and business owners, with a strong emphasis on asset protection, tax‑efficient wealth transfer, and long‑term planning strategies.
About the Opportunity
The incoming attorney will work with a wide range of estate planning tools and advanced strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, charitable planning, family entities, business succession planning, and Medicaid/long‑term care planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients’ family, financial, and tax considerations
- Draft wills, trusts (revocable, irrevocable, dynasty, supplemental needs, charitable), and related planning documents
- Advise on federal estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer tax matters
- Counsel clients on asset protection strategies under Florida law
- Handle trust and estate administration, including fiduciary guidance
- Assist with business succession planning, family limited partnerships, and LLC structuress
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on cross‑disciplinary matters
Ideal Background
- 3 years of experience in estate planning and tax experience
- Florida Bar
- Strong knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws
- Excellent drafting skills and a client‑focused approach
- Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
