Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patent prosecution for electronics and technology-related inventions

• Draft, review, and file patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute patent protection strategies

• Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, including patentability and portfolio management

• Communicate with examiners and respond to office actions

• Support broader IP initiatives within a national practice

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience as a Patent Prosecution Associate or IP Attorney

• Strong background in electrical engineering or related technical field

• Admission to a state bar (State Bar required)

• Admittance to the U.S.P.T.O. preferred

• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications is preferred
