Position Summary
Gallery Social is seeking a dependable and motivated Part Time Line/Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team to work both days and evenings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in food preparation, organization, and teamwork. The Line/Prep Cook will assist with food prep, station setup, cooking during service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, marinating, and stocking stations
- Assist with daily kitchen prep and food production
- Cook and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly label, store, and rotate food inventory
- Restock stations and assist with closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and special events
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, prep cook, or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler Certification is a plus

Hours
-Daytime Hours - 10am - 6pm
· Evening Hours – 6pm - close (1am-2am).
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
