What You'll Be Doing
Program and set up Swiss-style CNC lathes (Citizen L20, L32, DMG Mori NLX) using Esprit CAD/CAM software
Optimize machining processes to drive faster cycle times, reduce scrap, and improve part quality
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and fixturing for a wide range of precision components
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and complex engineering drawings
Troubleshoot machining issues with confidence—you're the go-to problem-solver
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across equipment, process, and workflow
Train and support operators—build up your team and elevate the floor
Collaborate with production, quality, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with aerospace and medical standards
What You Bring to the Table
3 years of experience programming Swiss-style CNC lathes
Proficiency with Esprit or similar CAD/CAM software
Deep knowledge of machining principles, GD&T, and blueprint reading
Hands-on experience in aerospace and/or medical manufacturing environments
A continuous improvement mindset—you see process waste like a hawk sees prey
Team-first attitude, excellent communicator, and coachable leader
