Impact You'll Make
- Lead quality assurance initiatives with autonomy, becoming our recognized subject matter expert for source inspections, customer returns, and first article submissions
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality data and implementing strategic solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes
- Serve as a trusted customer-facing representative, building valuable relationships while maintaining our reputation for exceptional quality
- Provide mentorship and direction to quality team members as needed
- Champion our quality management system, ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities for streamlining and enhancement
What You Need
- Track record with 5 years in a formal quality role and 8 years in manufacturing environments
- Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 environment
- Ability to interpret complex data and engineering specifications
- Experience with machined parts quality/inspection
- Strong first article inspection (FAI)
- CMM programming
- Solid Quality Control
- Lean or Six Sigma (preferred)
