Women’s Woven Technical Designer
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Women’s Woven Technical Designer in our New York, NY office. This role will involve working closely with the design team to create technical specifications for women’s woven clothing. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment construction and be able to interpret design sketches into detailed technical drawings. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed technical specifications for women’s woven clothing
- Collaborate with design team to ensure designs are translated accurately
- Create tech packs for sample development and production
- Communicate with overseas factories to address any technical issues
- Participate in fit sessions and provide feedback for adjustments
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in technical design for women’s apparel
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design software
- Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
