Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: Finger Lakes Region, NY | Full-Time | Direct Hire
A prominent healthcare organization in the Finger Lakes area is in search of a committed Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to become part of a collaborative orthopedic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to closely collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff while delivering comprehensive care in both clinic and surgical settings.
Compensation: $115,000–$135,000 annually
Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders
• Offer pre- and post-operative care and assist in surgical procedures when needed
• Request and analyze imaging and lab tests
• Create personalized treatment plans and educate patients on recovery and prevention
• Conduct procedures such as joint injections, splinting, and casting
• Maintain precise clinical records and ensure superior patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Valid state license, national certification, and DEA license or eligibility
• Previous experience in orthopedics, fracture care, or musculoskeletal issues preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
