- 5 years of dedicated experience developing industrial electrical schematics and panel layouts
- 5 years with a machine builder, robotics integrator, conveyor systems integrator, or custom automation firm
- High proficiency in standard CAD; hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, E-Plan, or Sky-Plan is a major plus
- Degree optional—practical design depth, drafting velocity, and real-world execution speed are what matter most
- US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable 45-minute daily commute of the facility

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Generate, modify, and finalize electrical schematics, power distribution diagrams, and control panel layouts for custom automation projects.
- Manage large blueprint packages efficiently with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Create CAD drawings for various system architectures, such as robotic welding cells and conveyor networks.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Design systems optimized for seamless assembly on the panel shop floor.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
- 5 years of experience in drafting industrial electrical schematics for panel builds and controls systems.
- Mastery of CAD software, with experience in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, E-Plan, or Sky-Plan.
- 5 years in the custom machine building, robotics integration, or conveyor systems industry.
- High drafting velocity and accuracy on large-scale drawing sets.
- Permanent residence within a 45-minute commute of the Greater Milwaukee area.
