What You Will Be Doing

• Generate, modify, and finalize robust electrical schematics, power distribution diagrams, and control panel layouts for high-complexity custom automation projects.
• Manage large-scale blueprint packages spanning massive, multi-page drawing sets, with a sharp focus on drafting efficiency, accuracy, and output speed.
• Translate complex physical system architectures—including robotic welding cells, high-speed conveyor sorting networks, and specialized testing equipment—into clean, functional CAD models.
• Collaborate closely with panel build technicians, project engineers, and client-side stakeholders to ensure all schematics conform perfectly to bill of materials (BOM) specifications.
• Utilize a deep, practical understanding of electrical components to design systems that are highly optimized for seamless physical assembly on the shop floor.

• Schematic design depth featuring at least 5 years of verifiable experience drafting and engineering industrial electrical schematics. You must thoroughly understand what you are drawing—seamlessly bridging the gap between engineering theory and real-world panel wiring.
• CAD system proficiency with complete mastery of specialized electrical design software (such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, E-Plan, or Sky-Plan).
• Automation industry track record with 5 years of dedicated experience working for a custom machine builder, robotics integrator, or material handling systems pioneer.
• Velocity and focus with a natural drive for high-speed drafting execution without sacrificing quality, accuracy, or standards on large-scale production sets.
