Job Title: Assembly/Machine Builder
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Salary: $24-29/hour
Job Summary of the Assembly/Machine Builder: Assemble custom machinery based on design specifications. Previous experience in industrial equipment assembly or repair is necessary. Attention to detail and ability to work independently will be required. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work environment. This is a full-time role with first shift hours and compensation dependent on skill level. Must pass pre-employment screenings.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Assembly/Machine Builder:
· Minimum of High School Diploma
· At least one year of experience in manufacturing or mechanical work settings.
· Demonstrated mechanical proficiency.
· Knowledge of automotive mechanics is advantageous.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings.
· Understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
· Basic knowledge of 12V electrical wiring.
· Experience with tools such as wrenches, air tools, and cranes required.
· Familiarity with forklift operations preferred.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
· Proficiency in English language skills.
