100% remote- 1st shift- 7:00-3:30. Dyno Lab environment.Required: 2-5 years of electrical/mechanical hands-on experienceInstrumentation experience (troubleshooting and repair)Data acquisition experienceChassis dynamometer experience2-year technical degree (or Associates- any field)Valid driver's licenseMust have:Excellent mechanical assembly and disassembly skills.Experience with hand and air tools.Data acquisition, review and troubleshooting experience.Effective time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both independent and team environments.Ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workersAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point, Outlook).Ability to handle basic project assignments with minimum supervision.Ability to repeatedly perform activities involving bending, twisting, pulling and lifting of vehicle components up to 50 pounds, unassisted. Moving test equipment and portable tools(70-200#) around the shop as required. Perform overhead and under dash assembly/disassembly operations on every build. Stand for long periods of time while performing build tasks.Ability to operate vehicle movers, walkies or fork trucks.Daily breakdown – they run a schedule and work ticket system, engineering team will schedule time in the dyno, schedule is posted online, they will be assigned a work ticket, getting everything ready to test, sometimes bounce between cells, might be working in one dyno cell and the tech might go to another cell to assist another team Number of tickets approx: 1-5 in a week, but the number of tests for each ticket can vary depending on what the data shows and what they need to change based on the data Interaction level – working a lot with the engineering team and other techsCompany DescriptionG-TECH is a WBENC-certified, women-owned recruitment and staffing firm with over 30 years of expertise in Engineering, IT, and Professional sectors.
